    That ain't what I saw.

Shane landed 1 good punch and I'll grant you that it was a better punch than any single punch that Victor landed but all Shane had was that 1 punch.

Victor landed more and put more pressure on Floyd than anyone since DLH.

well all we have are 4 rounds of MW Ortiz.. We have 12 SSM MW.. In that pivotal round, Shane landed more than one shot. I counted at least 3 clean right hands, two of which rocked MW.

Ortiz, I liked his right hook that caught MW as he was fading to the right and up... that punch is extremely hard to do so ortiz gets props from me for that one.

The rest to me seemed like innefective impotent aggression.. he couldn't land flush or crack MW's defense open, hence why he got frustrated and butted. SSM hurt MW more....

The truth was pulled out of Cotto in the first Margo fight.

He QUIT ! but he was extremely skilled and just didn't have the proper game plan like he did in the last fight.

This cuban trainer should have been his trainer all along but wasn't around.

The fact of the matter that is so overlooked on purpose by the JR followers is just who has JR really fought , especially in the past 7 years ??

IF you have an open mind then watch the Ortiz fight in Slo mo and you will see the fight really as it really was not as the great Lampley called it.

Shots from Jr just did not land on the chin like they were called they did. Granted shots did land from Jr, but Ortiz was coming on and landed some shots as well.

Jr looked like an amateur during a flurry when Ortiz blocked all those shots. Jrs elbow will take credit for much of the swelling on ORTIZs eye. Ortiz should never have lost his cool and cheapshotted with that headbutt.

So who has Jr really fought in the past 7 years , name the elite Welter weight fighter he has fought and you have all the answers on JR.

ITS a sign of whether his heart is game or not. Does he really want to test his skills or does he really want your money ?

answer: He really wants your money !!

IF he won't fight guys in there prime like yesteryear with COTTO and MARGO then how can you reason he is the greatest ?

            Jr. is spoiled goods.

Todays Cotto is spoiled goods unless he is winning. IF he starts losing badly he will QUIT. I hate it but its true.

Jr. will not fight anyone without first seeing a flaw or whatever that gives him confidence he can beat that guy then drives that point down his throat. LOL , and you call that boxing ?

On the contrary... The shot calling in that fight was horribly inept the other way... against MW. At one point Lampley says Vic hit him with a left cross and was "fast enough to fight MW" , and there was NO left cross landing.. It was a Vic miss followed by a counter MW right hand that sent Vic to miss a step.

However reasoning with pointless hate is a fool's errand. So, yeah

You make a pretty reasonable argument here. I suppose it comes down to what the fight looked like to you. I think Victor landed a little better than you're giving him credit for but that's just how it looked to me.

As far as the asinine headbutt attempt, I don't think he did it out of frustration. I think that Ortiz thought he was having some success (I think he was as well) bullying Floyd and got overexcited and ******ly took it too far.

Finally, please don't interpret my above posts to mean that I think that were the fight to have continued that Victor would have won because I don't.

I have (and have had) Floyd as the favourite in any fight below 160.

Even the ones he won't make happen.

Before the Pac fight, Cotto is shot/damaged goods. Now his suddenly the best. And why would Floyd want to fight a left over of Pac.

"Cotto has a good chance of beating Mayweather!"

Let's face it, this amounts to no more than chronic mental ************. And it's becoming an obsession.

Bucket loads of psychic jizzum have reached a surging crescendo and then been spent all over countless keyboards and P.C monitors ejaculating ******ic cries of . . "No, no really. This guy, this is THE guy. This is the guy that has a good chance of beating Mayweather. He does, he really does, and here's why!"

Every single person guilty of this (and Lord knows I've been one of 'em) eventually has to come round to the post-fight conclusion that they've done nothing more than grasped their own d**k in their hands and dribbled on their own shoes.

I'm a Cotto fan. I rate him as a fighter, I rate him as a man. But he doesn't have what it takes to beat Floyd. He doesn't even come close.

So let's put it back in our pants shall we gentlemen? 'Cause this continuous obscenity is starting to get a little bit tiresome.
