is floyd mayweather a hall of famer if he retired today?

Hall of Fame is an exclusive group, usually pertaining to athletes who were household names, and superstars.

Floyd is neither of those.

I have never seen a Floyd Mayweather Jr commercial.

People outside of hardcore boxing fans know little about him.

no he is not. he is good but he still has to make more waves to make the hall. if he retired now his career would be cut short and that would lessen his chances.

Nope. He needs more fights and more public exposure. The man has got the skill to be in the hall of fame, yet you need to have some fame to go with it.

naw not yet. he's a easy hall of famer tho in a couple years. tha guy is so talented. as of now holds one win over castillo,corrales,chop chop, gatti, jesus chavez. not hall of fame yet, but he'll get there
