    Members of Grzegorz Proksa's team are reporting that former WBC middleweight champion Sebastian Zbik has withdrawn from a planned fight on March 2. Zbik (30-1, 10 KOs) was the mandatory challenger to the European middleweight title held by Proksa (26-0, 19 KOs). Sturm Boxing, the promotional company run by WBA middleweight champion Felix Sturm, won the EBU's purse bid. Zbik had long expressed his issues with fighting under the banner of his old Universum stablemate, Sturm. Instead, Zbik would rather fight Sturm for the WBA title.

      so andy lee, golovkin, and zbik are all fighting sturm? everyone wants to fight the easy target.

          their is a lot of bad blood between Sturm and Universum, who promotes Zbik.

          it's like the Top Rank and Golden Boy fued. no universum fighter is going to help build up one of Sturm's guys. Proska is a talent and probably beats Zbik and Universum doesn't want that ****.

              Yeah, and after the display Proksa gave against Sylvester I think most guys are going to avoid him.

                      Knew this wasn't going to happen. Proska is waaaaayyy too dangerous. Zbik won't be fighting Sturm either. IMO Universum will have Zbik on the Cupcake Circuit until it can line up a shot at an open title against a very beatable, light-punching opponent. Fighting Proska would just add another loss to his record
