I remembered the PR fanatics (not the actual fans of boxing) were talking mad **** about Caballero not having any defense and all. Funny how those same people are now saying Juanma's defense needs work.

Another thing is that I think Salido isn't that good as people make him out to be. As funny as it was bringing Juanma's stans to reality, I was kinda surprised Lopez lost to this guy.

hes not "elite" but hes still a good fighter, most of those losses he has came in the early stages of his career (turned pro at 15) and he had no amateur experience.

Lol mtagua sucks bro but overall good post. Juanma has to much mexican in him and wants to duke it out when some one lands on him. But he doesnt have the chin to hang. He is fun to watch though and salido has a sneaky defence where he catches and rolls alot of the punches.

I know Mtagwa sucks, but I threw him in there for comparison's sake.

Gamboa, Juanma, and Salido have all gone up against Mtagwa. Gamboa took him out in 2. Salido took him out in 5. Juanma...nearly got stopped by him.

Other than that, Salido's underrated. If I had known about his resumé before the first Juanma fight, I would've flat-out predicted he would win. I bought into the Juanma kool-aid.

Some talked about Lopez making improvements. Did anyone see the Oliver fight?? He was even easier to hit cleanly and more wide open to counter punches than before. So how is that improving?

I disagree salido looked pretty good it is just that he was over confident and got caught. But once he was down he settled down and took him apart quiet impressive.

Yea he was definitely over confident. It just looks bad when you have to go to war for 8 rounds and get dropped twice against a guy named Wang Haya with a record of 14 wins and 5 losses. It was probably a good wake up call for him to train extra hard for this fight.
