I remembered the PR fanatics (not the actual fans of boxing) were talking mad **** about Caballero not having any defense and all. Funny how those same people are now saying Juanma's defense needs work.

Another thing is that I think Salido isn't that good as people make him out to be. As funny as it was bringing Juanma's stans to reality, I was kinda surprised Lopez lost to this guy.

hes not "elite" but hes still a good fighter, most of those losses he has came in the early stages of his career (turned pro at 15) and he had no amateur experience.

I know Mtagwa sucks, but I threw him in there for comparison's sake.

Gamboa, Juanma, and Salido have all gone up against Mtagwa. Gamboa took him out in 2. Salido took him out in 5. Juanma...nearly got stopped by him.

Other than that, Salido's underrated. If I had known about his resumé before the first Juanma fight, I would've flat-out predicted he would win. I bought into the Juanma kool-aid.

Yeah, I never notice how bad his defense was till Mtagwa. And Salido can ****, he probably wins again.

Oh, I finally saw where you got that Icon pic from. The Man From Nowhere was cool as ****! I love S. Korean movies.

They both looked like **** in thier tune-ups leading up to this fight,Salido got dropped in the 3rd and 4th round before he finally got the k.o. in the 8th. Good thing is they're both having 10 week training camps for this fight. I think it's gonna be another barnburner.

JuanMa has forgotten how to box entirely it seems and will be ko'd again.

I haven't seen Salido's last fight. I should definitely check it out.

I disagree salido looked pretty good it is just that he was over confident and got caught. But once he was down he settled down and took him apart quiet impressive.

Yea he was definitely over confident. It just looks bad when you have to go to war for 8 rounds and get dropped twice against a guy named Wang Haya with a record of 14 wins and 5 losses. It was probably a good wake up call for him to train extra hard for this fight.
