Promoter Lou DiBella has advised BoxingScene.com that middleweight contender Andy Lee (27-1, 19KOs) is "ready and willing" to fight WBA champion Felix Sturm (36-2-2, 15KOs) - and the Irish boxer has no issue with traveling to Germany to make the fight happen. Sturm has barely fought outside of Germany since losing a controversial decision in 2004 to Oscar De La Hoya at the MGM Grand in Las Vegas.

Whoever wants a crack at Sturms belt has to go to Germany Sturm aint leaving there nobody so if Andy can get his shot he should take it Sturm is sliding perfect time to stike also Andy has fought out there plenty before so he should know the enviroment although if he goes to fight Sturm he will be seen as the enemy this time.Hopefully he gets someone good on Paddys day and has a good confidence builder.

Obviosuly Lee wants no part of Peter Quillin who is willing to fight him on the date that was mentioned.

With Andy Lee off the Martinez card, that pretty much ruins the whole St. Patrick's Day theme. Lee was a big part of the advertising. There's Macklin in the main event, but he isn't as well known in the US. As long as Dibella packs the undercard with more Irish guys I guess.

When i heard Floyd said he would fight Martinez at 150 i thought to myself Macklin must be ****ting himself but then again they have signed the contracts (i presume) and it would cost Lou alot to get out of the fight with Macklin that is if Macklin would let it go

- they offered Quillin the fight 2 weeks ago but he wasn't happy with the offer. Lee also confrmed this on Irsh radio.Do you really think Lee is more scared of fihting Quilling in MSG on Paddys day rather then facing Sturm in his hometown in Germany- no offence but that statement migh be worth thinking twice about!
