    Is Salido-Lopez I & II another version of Cotto-Margarito I & II?

The young star Lopez prepping and probably one more fight from the major showdown.

Hits his hardest, fights his best on that night and slowly broken down by a strong and determined Salido.

With this rematch, what do you think Lopez needs to do and can do? Is there anything he can learn from Salido's last performance? Even though Salido was dropped hard, he proved he is still one tough dude.

Salido has looked worse since the Salido fight than Cotto did after the first Margarito fight. I'd be surprised if suddenly he could pull of a great boxing performance.

He should go for the knockout right away. Forget about trying to box Salido, because unlike Cotto against Margarito, Lopez is not the smarter, faster, more skillful fighter in the ring. And why do people keep saying Salido was gettng tagged a lot? I thought Salido showed good defense that night.

        No.

        I see no similarities.

On Cotto's worst day, he's still 100x the boxer. He's more skillful, has better defense, better footwork and smarter in the ring.

JuanMa is getting KOd again and probably sooner

It is not the same. Probably we will see Calderon vs Segura.

I used to like Juanma but he turn into a diva. He wanted attention all the time. Instead of improving in the gym, he started visiting every damn show and it seems to be spending more time in front of the cameras than in the gym. Against Oliver he did not show improvement. He was tag big time with the right hand. He is stubborn and he dont want to change his style. Unless he is lying about that and use his boxing skills more Salido is going to KTFO again. And I hope the card is pack because I will be there.

Juanma needs to go for the knockout. I can't see him boxing like Cotto did.

He wasn't broken down like cotto was, he was caught with a huge overhand that had been tagging him all night. I remember Salido in an interview saying that the punch that connected was his punch, he threw it with all his force. The fight was competitive until that point then it was a juanma just trying to survive and Salido picking his spots against a ****ty defense.

JML-Salido II, I give to Salido again barring a huge connect by Juanma cause I don't think he'd get up like he did in his last fight. Then again, Juanma can try and not bumrush everything that's infront of him, you know like in boxing.

JuanMa has forgotten how to box entirely it seems and is now just a crude brawler who will be ko'd again.
