Regarding the immediate furture of former champion Jean Pascal (26-2-1, 16KOs), promoter Yvon Michel is staying patient and waiting for a decision to be made in the current light heavyweight landscape. Michel is waiting for the outcome of the pending rematch between WBC champion Bernard Hopkins and mandatory challenger Chad Dawson. The WBC ordered Hopkins to defend the title against Dawson in a rematch.

Pascal's accent is Haitien not french. That is a very racist and ignorant comment you made. Also what does someone's voice have to do with anything in boxing? Mike Tyson sounded like a high pitched teenager didn't mean he wasn't a monster in the ring.

Everyone said Dawson would destroy Pascal in 2010 and that didn't happen. Granted Pascal was in trouble in the 11th before the cut halted the bout but before that Pascal dominated the fight. The Tavoris fight didn't happen because Don King was asking for way 2 much money and wanted options on Pascal's next 3 fights. You can't blame Yvon Michel Pascal's promoter for refusing. Pascal draws 18 000 people in Montreal and Quebec, Tavoris can't bring in 2000 people.
