Comments Thread For: Frank Warren Wins Purse Bid For Groves-Anderson Rematch

By Jake Donovan - In what has already been a busy start to 2011 for Frank Warren Promotions, more good news came about for the leading promoter in the UK, who won a purse bid held on Friday for the right to promote the super middleweight rematch between George Groves and Kenny Anderson.

Groves and Anderson were both unbeaten prospects when they first met in November 2010, appearing on the undercard of then-heavyweight titlist David Haye’s defense against Audley Harrison. Anderson (15-1, 11KO) accepted the fight on two-weeks notice but managed to turn the fight into an all-out war. Groves (14-0, 11KO) suffered the lone knockdown of his career when he hit the deck in the third round, but came back to stop the Scot in the sixth round. [Click Here To Read More]

Groves should beat his ass twice as bad this time.

Anderson's a tough, tough guiy but St George will outclass him.
