According to promoter Fernando Beltran of Zanfer Promotions, former multi-division world champion Rafael Marquez (40-7, 36KOs) will likely return to action on the 25th of February in Mexico. Marquez, soon to be 37-years-old, last fought in October at the MGM Grand in Las Vegas, and lost a competitive twelve round unanimous decision to WBC super bantamweight champion Toshiaki Nishioka of Japan.
