Why is DiBella trying to hype up Macklin? I understand he's Irish and it's St. Paddy's Day, but Macklin is coming fresh off a loss to Felix Sturm. Then DiBella has the nerve to lie and say
"Sergio only wants to fight the best, Macklin is the best available guy."
Macklin is ranked #12 in the world, Quillin is ranked #8 in the world and #1 in the USA and has been begging to fight Martinez. Andy Lee is DiBella's and is ranked #5 in the world and Irish. So how is Macklin the best available guy?

Quillin has challenged both Martinez and Lee. DiBella missed the Kid Chocolate's train and is avoiding his fighters from a train wreck. Lou, stop thinking all boxing fans are idiots. Milk your Argentinian cow as much as you can, but stop saying he's fighting the best available.

It's not Lou fault that No body wants to fight his fighter he's been kicking every body ass Sergio wants Cotto at 154 or Chavez Jr at 160 Sergio a good fighter but other promotors don't want to risk their fighters getting knockout by Sergio.

Uh, do you actually watch fights or just look at boxrec? The Felix Strum fight was a robbery. That's a heck of a lot more than Quillin has ever accomplished.

I was trying to figure out where you're getting these weird awfully specific ratings from as if they're THE official ones. Then I realized they're boxrec rankings.

Dibella gave Quillin a big opportunity by offering him the Lee fight. I have no idea if Quillin accepted it yet, but there's his chance to actually prove something in order to set himself as a viable Martinez opponent.

The question is do you watch boxing or just follow my posts like a stalker? Felix Sturm not Strum, won that fight. I agree with the 2 judges that scored it that way. He was first and foremost the Champion, secondly he was precisely accurate with his punches and displayed a boxing technical skill that was more impressive than Macklin's relentless pursuit. Maybe because I'm from the Bronx and see street fights all the time I know the difference between a brawl and a boxing match. Now Martin Murray on the other hand deserved the victory not a draw.

Do you want the official rankings? From which of the alphabet soup would you consider non biased without an agenda? Boxrec uses a formula based on records and records of opponents fought without an agenda.

There will be a press conference soon enough. I assure you Quillin and his team would not turn down an Andy Lee HBO fight at MSG in his backyard where he has fought on St. Paddy's Day before. If DiBella does not let the fight happen it is because he is protecting his fighter. I give Andy Lee much credit. He is a great fighter and a class act. But even he admits that boxing politics suck. He also makes it clear that he joined DiBella for a better shot at fighting Martinez. That fight won't ever happen. We have a better shot of seeing Pacquiao fight Mayweather on May 5th.
