Yes, I think it has everything to do with Freedom. He's a huge Vitali fan and doesn't seem to like Ward at all. Pretty obvious, but then again I don't really know the thread starter so I wasn't completely sure.

Not comparable at all, Andre Ward fights in the best division in boxing currently so he's bound to have a better resume since Vitali has been fighting in a dead division for many years.

Kessler and Froch are hardly ATG's bud.

vitali is the best in the division? not even close. wlad has 3 belts, has a much better resume especially as of late, and is the ring recognized champ.

vitali still has no marquee wins and ward has 2 even if kessler and froch aren't all time greats they were still top fighters. vitali is 0-2 vs top fighters. longevity and easy title defenses don't impress me.

kessler wasn't inactive he just fought 2 months before he faced ward. i never say kessler is a bum on calzaghe's resume. it's his best legit win. a guy like lacy was a bum because his resume was terrible.
