Comments Thread For: Marquez: I Don't Think Manny Pacquiao is Afraid of Me

After three tough battles, Juan Manuel Marquez (53-6, 39KOs) doesn't believe his career rival, WBO welterweight champion Manny Pacquiao (54-3, 38KOs), is afraid to accept a fourth fight. They faced each other for third time in November at the MGM Grand in Las Vegas, with Pacquiao winning a controversial twelve round majority decision. Marquez would like to fight Pacquiao on May 5th, in Mexico or Texas, and feels the fight could actually take place. [Click Here To Read More]

I hope the rematch is in Mexico City. JMM's hometown. He deserves a rematch.
Texas is a good venue too, alo of Mexicans there.

it should definitely be in Mexico

Pacquiao has close ties with Nevada politicians that profit from Pacquiao winning in Las Vegas... Marquez will never get fair judging there

        fight bradley instead.

it will be a replay of 1-2-3 fights.

and JMM is never afraid of pac but you box backwards it means you are

afraid of that fist get you solidly.. it is a nice way you box back pedaling all the

time against pac. if you want to beat a champion coming forward to you take

that belt in a agressive way so you dont need judges. and you need a lot of $$.

JMM prove himself as one the greatest of this era against pac only.

do you really want to put JMM=ALI?

Ali fought everybody in his era, JMM did that? Ali fought Foreman in the ropes.

Ali fought Frazier moving with stinging jab and in the ropes too.

JMM is different when fighting pac and only pac. watch PBFvJMM.

All three fights were close, just like Ali Norton. If TRUE justice was served JMM would get a 4th fight in Mexico City but if true justice was served there would have been no President George W Bush! Politics rule & we have to go with the flow.
p.s. I am a boxing fan not a Pac/PBF/Nationalistic bull**** fan. ANYONE who steps in the ring is my hero.

Why would Pacquiao be afraid when he consistently lands more punches on JMM than JMM does on Pac?
