The holidays are not bright for heavyweight contender Amir Mansour (16-0), who received a 14-month prison sentence for violating his probation, according to the News Journal. Mansour, 38-years-old, returned to boxing after serving over an eight year sentence in federal prison for a drug possession conviction. He came back in August 2010 and picked up seven wins over a 16 month span.

Well if anybody thought this guy could beat a Klitschko (because there are and dont lie those that fell in love with his KO power) think again.

Not only was he at the arse end of his career....he's now in prison again. Silly boy, sorta feel for him....but whatever.

What a shame. Silly man's back inside instead of making decent money as a contender.

You'd think a man Mansour's age would know better.

That's too bad, he was making a name for himself and seemed to have turned his life around.

8 years in prison is a long time, and I don't think they learn to grow up, and worse of all, he most likely stayed with his only friends who are gang members.

Seth Mitchell is better anyway. Sure Mansour was a hard puncher but he was already 38 and a small heavyweight. Mitchell is younger and bigger and impressive as well.
