Comments Thread For: Kompayak Porpramook Stops Adrian Hernandez In Ten

By Jake Donovan - Kompayak Porpramook picked up by far the biggest win of his 12-year career with a 10th round stoppage over Adrian Hernandez to win a junior flyweight strap Thursday afternoon (local time) in ****kok, Thailand.

The main event was non-stop action and a surefire Fight of the Year contender, keeping the intimate but rabid crowd in suspense throughout. Neither fighter gave an inch, with most of the action taking place in center ring and rarely at more than phone booth’s distance. [Click Here To Read More]

we need to stop sending the champions to thailand and japan and indonesia. **** that, they never come out and fight. That is a disadvantage to western fighters.

It's because there is more money for these fighters to be made out there - well, depending on the fighter.

Hernandez' only disadvantage in all of this, however, was his inability to block a punch. Made for a GREAT fight but short title reign

Yeah, he just ate those rights. The closing combo was picturesque; left opens the chin and right ends it.

And, yeah, Thai guys come out plenty to Japan, the Philippines, and occasionally here. Morel beat Kaovichit here in a good fight. Jesus Chavez won his first title from a Thai here. Fighters fight where they get paid.
