Lederman: “I think that, really, from the bottom of my heart, I think that Joe Cooper should’ve given him a hard warning, called time out, said, ‘Look, one more time, I’m going to take a point.’ But he didn’t do that. He just called time, said ‘one point.’ And then he did it again. It’s a minor infraction.

Love ryding that *** huh lederman...The ref called time out at the beginning of one of the rnds, and looked at the commision and said, "if he does it again Im gonna take a point away"...and also...I rewatched this fight allot...its addictive seeing Khan lose and seeing pete rise to the occasion...The ref warned Khan a whole lot...it was obvious the ref was sensitive about the pushing even thos its a sillly call...and the also...the ref warned pete for keeping his head down...people think, "Khan is the future es not supposed to lose" and he gets a close fight and they feel, "This kid was supposed to be the future and it was all stolen from him"...it was a close fight, and Khan didnt dominate enough to take the victory...Khan is so ****y, HE decided, "I will go to his home town...Im so good I will MURDER him..it wont even be close so it wont matter"..Khan is so ****y, he thinks, "I will let pete hit me a million times, just to show I can take a punch...but its okay if I get down on the scorecards, cuz Im so good I will catch up in the later rnds"..Khan lost....the point deductions were ugly, but after u get deducted the first point, u stop the bull**** and dominate the guy...and u stop letting the guy tag u on the ropes when u KNOW uu dont HAVE to get hit..and u can EASILY avoid going to the ropes..His ****yness got the best of him so lederman stop discrediting pete in a close fight

From round one I was saying that the ref need to tell Khan about pushing off with the elbow. The ref warned Khan repeatedly about pushing off, so the first point he took away was justified. Merchant, Lampley and Kellerman are biased commentators. I've heard each of them say, in reference to low blows, that if the ref warned you two times that the next should be a point deduction. Why the hell should the ref tell Khan that if he does it again he's gonna take a point? He should already know.

I watched the fight again and Peterson is NOT a dirty fighter but his awkward style of ducking low when coming in and then quickly getting up was making his head hit khans face and u could see khan complaining but the ref ignored him. I had khan by 1 round, but credit to both guys they gave us what us fans want... ENTERTAINMENT!!!!

              Khan and his sympathisers mentality:

              - Foul constantly from the opening round.

              - Get warned 10-15 times a round to stop pushing/headlocking/holding behind the neck

              - Get told that if he keeps doing it he'll have a point taken.

              - Keep doing it till the ref finally gets pissed off after warning you 50 times and takes a point.

              - Continue to do it constantly till another point is taken.

              - Act like you have no idea why another point was taken for continuously doing something you already had a point taken for.

              Smart people..............real smart..

                ref blew it

Khan won a close tough fight. The ref helped Peterson, he was in there and knew how close it was. HOME TOWN DECISION. ANOTHER BLACK Eye FOR BOXING

Dont you mean Khan helped Peterson by having no inside game whatsover?

Which meant that all he could do to get away from Peterson was headlock/push/elbow/hold behind the neck and get penalties for doing it about 1000 times in a row?

The ref didn't make Khan foul and fight one of the ugliest, dirtiest fights I've ever seen him display.

It's Petersons performance that forced Khan to have to be so dirty to simply survive that make him lose points.

The ref just did his job.
