WBA junior middleweight champion Miguel Cotto and members of his team returned home to Puerto Rico. Cotto was greeted by fans and reporters, treated like a hero, after stopping Antonio Margarito after nine rounds on Saturday night in New York's Madison Square Garden. As he should. Cotto is a great champion. He's one of the best fighters to come out of PR. He's much better than Trinidad IMO. Much more technical (with no need of illegal hand wraps like Trinidad).... On the flip side, I'm not so convinced this fight proves Margarito loaded his gloves in the first fight. I still saw Magarito give Cotto problems and even hurt him in the mid-rounds. I wish Margarito's eye would have been in 'normal' condition to see how the fight would have played out. I'm almost positive the fight would have been more competitive. Ofcourse you can't blame Cotto for this, he did his work and did it well!

He arrived at around 2 AM. No "hero's welcome" or anything at 2 AM.
