It seems like Floyd Mayweather is being called out by everyone these days as they all want to be his next opponent for his already reserved date of May 5, 2012. There were rumors that one of the fights they had explored was with current WBC Light Welterweight champion Erik Morales.

Not even in 2004/2005 Morales would be a 50/50 fight with Floyd.

El Terrible is an F'ing beast. It's almost impossible not to be a fan of the guy. You would have to be a big Barrera guy not to be a fan of Morales. And, even then I think it would have to be difficult not to be a fan of his.

But, there's no version of Morales that could hang with Floyd...But, to credit to Morales a lot has to do with size differential. And, then add Floyd skill, talent, IQ, and intangibles. It would have been a very difficult task.

Maybe if Morales was naturally bigger then it would be a different story.
