The lab results came back with "Trace Elements" of Sulfur and Calcium
The only way you get through the next part is if you actually know boxing
Now think about it if your planning on using plaster to hurt someone in a boxing match you have to use enough to get through 15 yards of gauze, and the padding on the glove meaning your hands are going to be at a much bigger risk cus they are closer to the "Plaster"
and it also means your going to need alot more than Microscopic trace elements for it to even have an effect
Now here is the funny part...
research this...
Sulfur and Calcium is NOT found in plaster paris....... The media took those findings and ran with it....
Whats in plaster paris is a compound known as Calcium Sulfate entirely different than the elements found at the lab......
and again why isnt he in jail today? its really ****ing simple had this gone through Criminal court they would have wasted time, Money only for Cross examination to eat up their so called "Evidence" and to confront Margaritos accusers of which ****m isnt exactly an honest man who doesnt have a criminal past himself...
in other words California knew he was innocent and rather than to just come out and say that, they save themselves the embarrassment and suspend him for 1 year giving the media and the fans what they want all while saving face for allowing this to even escalate the way it didLast edited by x3_bazooka_x3; 11-30-2011, 08:18 PM.

Not only did Cotto cheat on his wife and dishonor his family, beat up his defenseless poor old uncle, but he also cheated Clottey by throwing him to the ground in an obvious foul to try to injure Clottey and lets not forget his history of throwing blatant low blows to try and weaken the opponents that are beating him fairly in the ring.
I don't know how anyone could be a "Cotto fan". You might as well throw your reputation in the gutter.

Not only this. Even if we actually believed that they found "trace elements" of plaster the pads were moist when they were confiscated and they had long been exposed to oxygen. So it seems that all the ingredients were in place, yet they still couldn't manage to find any plaster.
Looks like Tony has the power to control chemistry by sheer force of mental power.

apparently, its not...according to a guy that calls himself a boxing genius, Cotto did NOT quit in the first fight
please vote and feel free to discuss
he accepted defeat. he quit
but i dont see that as a negative. he gave his best effort and absorbed and gave a lot of punishment throughout the fight
cotto was beaten to submission by Margarito it is not the same as when roberto duran quit
so i dont even know how anyone can really criticize that

Its tough. Technically, yeah, he quit, but not like Ortiz did against Maidana or even like Cintron did against Alvarez. He put everything he had in the ring and had nothing left.
He showed heart to take those shots and get up.
He could have stayed down after going to a knee.
