...Looks like it's coming. -
also, there are rumors circling that now it's only 60 days to make the fight instead of 90 or he's stripped.Comment

i think they've made it pretty simple for him, as i understand, after surgery this week, he has 60 days to fight or the title is stripped.Originally posted by DerrangedSo if the test results show that his knee isnt that bad, will the title be stripped automatically or will they give him a chance to fight relatively soon.... one week, two weeks, or the scheduled Nov 12?Comment

i think if big bro does get stripped, it should be declared vacant. that way rahman would have to fight a top contender for the belt instead of getting it handed to him.
what fighter could honestly call themselves a champion without fighting for the belt? i couldn't.
vitali, imo, shouldn't worry about whether or not he gets stripped of the title. as i always say, the fighter makes the belt worthy, not the belt makes the fighter worthy.Comment

i agree, and honestly, i don't think rahman would be proud to have the title if it was just givin to him, nor should any fighter really.Originally posted by ji think if big bro does get stripped, it should be declared vacant. that way rahman would have to fight a top contender for the belt instead of getting it handed to him.

He should worry because as many have stated before if a DK fighter gets the belt aint no way Vitali is gonna get a shot at it thats to say that he cares that much about the belt. But maybe he should give it up, come back in 2006 and work his way up again. He'll get more respect doing that, just a thought.Originally posted by ji think if big bro does get stripped, it should be declared vacant. that way rahman would have to fight a top contender for the belt instead of getting it handed to him.

funny how vitalis in danger of being stripped for inactivity/injuries and john the bum ruiz isnt being stripped for being a bad champion who gives bad fights, is involved with bad decisions, and files bad lawsuits.

with all this media attention Ruiz has been getting lately, you think he'd have to make some kind of the stance INSIDE the boxing ring.Originally posted by TheEvilSaintfunny how vitalis in danger of being stripped for inactivity/injuries and john the bum ruiz isnt being stripped for being a bad champion who gives bad fights, is involved with bad decisions, and files bad lawsuits.
