EBU jr. welterweight champ Denis "Djingis Khan" Shafikov will defend the title against Lee McAllister February 11 on a Tommy Gilmoure promotion. Site is to be announced but it appears that a venue close to Aberdeen is likely. McAllister has been around for a long time now and over the years he's been world champ twice and currently holds the Commonwealth title. Shafikov is from Russia but is promoted by P 3 Boxing in Finland. There has been some rumors that P 3 Boxing was looking to sell Shafikov´s contract to Russian investors but for now the boxer is still with P 3.
