Comments Thread For: Nacho: Marquez Could Fight Three or Four More Times

No official decision has been made, but trainer Nacho Beristain believes Juan Manuel Marquez, 38-years-old, could still continue his career with three or four more fights before retiring for good. The Mexican WBA/WBO lightweight champion is still undecided as to his future. Last Saturday night in Las Vegas, he lost a controversial twelve round majority decision to Manny Pacquiao. Top Rank is trying to make a fourth fight with Marquez.

Pacquiao - before or after Mayweather
      Morales

those are the only fights I really want to see from him

Maidana,Guerrero and Rios are just needless damage... they would be pretty sweet though

No need champ! Marquez has nothing left to prove. Although, I wouldn't mind seeing another war with Pacquiao and a showdown with Erik Morales before he retires. Let Pac/Mayweather happen, snatch Morales's WBC strap at 140, and then have one last war with your nemesis Pacquiao. Win or lose, you'll go out in glory and with a fatter bank account. No need for 4 mor fights. I won't lie though, it's gonna be sad seeing Marquez finally hang em up. It's been a pleasure. DINAMITA!!!!

Yeah I got to agree with the idea of him fighting Pacquiao again and Morales. Those would be good fights to go out on. I hope he does them.

Marquez new t-shirt coming out soon: (front) Marquez Beat Pacquiao Thrice (back) Pacquiao Your Next. Last time Marquez lied but this time he's for real, he's coming to knock PAC out and he's not going to run like coward Mosley.

I agree with nacho..if he can climb into the ring looking and fighting like he did this last time...then I wouldnt think twice about morales or anyone at 135
