Fury isnt ready. He struggled to keep the smaller man off him last night, he needs to get out and do some road work and get a decent coach. Not some ***** thats only got a few bar fights under their belt.
He needs some serious defensive work. In his next couple of fights he should forget about a KO and focus on boxing. He could also get into much better shape.
But, like Hennessey says, he's exciting. I'd hate to see him lose that.
I think fury hasnt convinced everybody yet but if he faces and beats povetkin, that would prove how good he really is. And remember hes only 23 years old he has many years ahead of him to improve
I was talking to my Dad about last night’s Fury fight (still a big fan, he was @ the Hagler/Minter riot in the 80's – seen the ticket lol) and for me he summed it up perfectly with a one liner.
Povetkin? Brian Minto will KO Fury in a RD or two, let'im fight Minto in his US debut or even Maddalone Those guys will really test if he can fight Povetkin or not
Fury looked promising from the beginning of the year up until September. Firtha bad rocked him and anyone would have thought that would have woke him up about his defence....then Neven throws a cannon ball at him and he goes down.
