Cruiserweight hopeful Matty "The Assassin" Askin (12-0, 8 KOs) continued his pugilistic education with a solid third-round TKO of 40-year old Czech Roman Kracik (32-8-1, 19 KOs). Askin, 23, was much better than his pudgy and out-of-shape opponent in almost every department. Jab and reasonable awareness helped the Englishman to get in and his cracking right hands methodically did the rest. In the third round, Askin started to punch with more menace. After a couple of uppercuts he pinned Kracik to the ropes, where the Czech got totally defenceless, turned his back to the Brit while eating punches at the back of the head. At this point (2:11 of the round) referee saw enough and stepped in to wave it off.
