Danny Jacobs, the talented middleweight who suffered a setback when he was stopped in his title fight last year, received another setback when he was diagnosed with a tumorous growth on his spine, according to his trainer, Andre Rozier. After having what Rozier described as life-saving surgery to remove the growth earlier this year, Jacobs is back in the gym working out and may even start sparring in January, according to Jacob’s advisor, Keith Connolly, who reports that Jacobs could be back in the ring next summer. Dude needs to turn up his inner intensity and gain some disdain for his opponents. He has good skills, but just doesn't seem to have that nasty streak that you need at the top level. Dawson showed you can change your demeanor. Let's hope Jacobs has been taking notes. -

Danny jacobs is going to be a world class fighter. My guess is he learned alot in that loss and you will see a much improved boxer

this kid can fight. good skiil good hand speed good foot speed good power. he even has a good chin, but pirog punches well (got to give props where props is due). i'd love to see him climb the rankings n have a showdown with pete quillin in brooklynComment
