Comments Thread For: HBO’s Greenburg Lands on His Feet, Now at NBC Sports

Ross Greenburg, the former head of HBO Sports, has resurfaced as a producer of sports documentaries for NBC Sports, according to the Associated Press. Greenburg had grown weary of dealing with boxing promoters and managers and left the network in July. He founded Ross Greenburg Productions earlier this year following a career at HBO that spanned 33 years and 51 Emmy Awards. He will now work for the NBC Sports Group, producing documentaries for the new NBC Sports Network, Golf Channel, the NHL, and NBC.

This is the man who was the head of the Mexiphobic HBO boxing program when Mexicans were getting robbed. Mexicans eventually need to boycott any advertisers who have commercials on NBC.

Hopefully he can get Boxing back on NBC. Everyone knows he made a lot of **** decisions at HBO.

Ross Greenburg destroyed his reputation after he became a part member of the Floyd Mayweather camp. He permitted himself to be manipulated by Al Haymon. Boxing aficionados around the globe knows that Floyd Mayweather Jr. is a big time liar and hypocrite...people doesn't believe him anymore. To be a part of Floyd Mayweather Jr. is just like boarding a sinking ship. The people showed Mayweather how they feel about him during his fight with Victor Ortiz...only a few PPV sold.

Maybe he will want to prove a point to HBO and talk NBC into a decent budget for fights.
