Comments Thread For: Steward: Pacquiao Should Fight Two, Three More at Most

On Sunday night I caught up with renown trainer Emanuel Steward, as we discussed his upcoming endeavor working with featherweight marvel Yuriorkis Gamboa. The Cuban standout may be in line for a crack at WBA lightweight champion Brandon Rios next summer and you could sense Steward’s cautious enthusiasm when assessing the danger of such a contest.

I don't see why a man should stop fighting when he is on top of his game, still young and can go on to add even more to his legacy if he has the desire

if Manny beats & stops JMM and then goes up to 150 and gets a decision against Martinez, then as much as I like Mayweather to beat Pacman if they fight, Pacman can go into the sunset and the biggest loser is the boxing fans and Mayweather. At that point Mayweather really needs Pacman a lot more then Pac needs him.

Whilst Floyd might have earned a lot more money then Manny his legacy will never hold a candle up to Pacmans achievements even if he retires undefeated.

BUT as Steward said "Arum CONTROLS Manny" - which is so true, so I expect Manny to fight 8 more fights mostly against bums so Arum can keep cashing out.

Your best bet is for Floyd to take more time off becuz with the more fighters that take the test against Floyd the worse off Mannys gonna look in the long term.

Let just give Marquez a respect, let him show what he can do with Pacman
speed and power; If Pacman wins, then his last 3 fights probably against:
Mayweather Jr., Sergio Martinez and Bradley.

Pacman's popularity continues as Newsweek had Pacman as its cover this month of November.

I'd like to see Pacman vs Cotto @ 154

Martinez @ 150 doesn't interest me in the slightest.

Bradley doesn't interest me in the slightest.

              FMJ will never happen.

Pacman's last fight; Total destruction of Alvarez

Last three fights of Pacquiao before he retires...Tim "Desert Storm" Bradley, Brandon "Bam-Bam"'Rios & Sergio "Maravilla" Martinez. Once/if Pacquiao decisions Maravilla, Fraud will never fight Pacquiao, even if Pacquiao signs a piece of paper saying that he will take any test Fraud would want. After these 3, Pacquiao should retire and let history decide his legacy.

PAC vs Alvarez would be nice also...and they fought in Mexico would be a nice venue.

that's the problem bro! all these fools are showing so much disrespect to marquez! the haters are just setting up excuses so if marquez makes it another exciting, two way action type fight, they can discredit the one known as pacsmash. . . .

i'd be surprised if the mayweather fight happens, not because of pac or even arum, but because of mayweather.. . he'll find some excuse. . .

i also hope and pray that he fights sergio at 150 . . im very confident of manny taxing that ass. . . only thing is he won't get credit from the haters. . .

manny will never get his proper due from the haters, though. . . so phuck it. . . just keep doing your thing manny.
