  • Comments Thread For: Carl Froch: I Will Knock Andre Ward Out, No Decision

WBC super middleweight champion Carl Froch (28-1, 20 KOs) is not expecting WBA king Andre Ward (24-0, 13KOs) to last the twelve round distance on December 17th at Boardwalk Hall in Atlantic City. Froch wants to end the fight before the scores reach the judges. Ward, with a near 50% knockout ratio, is not the puncher in the contest, but he is the better boxer and the better mover. Froch anticipates Ward's defensive manuevers to avoid a physical fight. The Nottingham boxer is going to cut the distance to prevent Ward from staying outside of the danger zone.

Froch has got to mix it up in this fight, keep it changing, attack body and head, jab in spots, throw combos move forward and back, just not allow Ward to settle in, needs to show a few different looks.

Froch can win this if he's smart, Ward is going to expect froch to just come forward head-hunting

Carl isnt a masssive ****er at world level so he cant go looking for a KO. He is yet to gain a stoppage in the super 6 as each fighter has been a qulaity fighter.Dirrel - Spolied and not a proper to to toe fightKessler - Nobody knocks Kessler out. Nobody even knocks him down. Abraham - Built like a bull and Carl put his boxing skills on show nstead that nightJohnson - Tough as nails. Ward will be hard to KO aswel so Carl has to have a 12 round strategy in mind. He cant expect him to fold when nailed.

I can see Froch winning a decision just as much, if not more, than i can see him winning by stoppage. . . Im going with Ward UD, but I can easily see Froch landing more hard shots a round; throwing more punches, and while landing at a lower accuracy %, "snapping" wards dome back more to get judges attention.

I would be surprised to see either guy getting stopped here.

Yep, thats also my thoughts, Froch KO! Super 6 champ then revenge on Kessler, retire Kessler move up to light heavy and retire hopkins.
