Universum heavyweight Ruslan Chagaev (27-2-1, 17KOs) is likely going to get back in the ring this year. The Uzbek said, after his defeat against Alexander Povetkin, that he wants to fight once more this year.

Unlike Sauerland, Universum has been doing a poor job of keeping their fighters active.

Chagaev has been fighting infrequently, once a year or so.

Boytsov's hand was healed and he was ready to fight by April, but he didn't have a bout until late September.

Yes, he's an excellent boxer. Most people thought Povetkin-Chakaev was a good fight.

Are you one of those racists who only likes black fighters?

Good to hear Chagaev will keep fighting, he's just 33 and is still good for some interesting fights. He even had Povetkin close to KO during the middle of the WBA fight in one round (can't remember exactly which one).

He rather needs to train like pro athletes do. Get rid off the belly and get some stamina, throw more punches and be more aggressive then he surely would still have a future
and a fight with Lyakhovich who lost on the same card to Helenius would be decent..
