Yuriorkis Gamboa is so skilled, he would beat Rios. And I love Brandon Rios. Gamboa is just on another level, one of the most gifted fighters I have seen in awhile.

He isn't THAT skilled, though. He is that fast, and he is that talented, but technically he makes a lot of big mistakes. He isn't a Floyd type who combines sensational speed and talent WITH amazing technical ability. He just has the speed and talent.

gamboa DOES have skills.. he just rarely needs to use them.. if he wins fights with his hands down, imagine what he can do with them up. he's a cuban gold medalist, he can defend just like floyd

I think Maidana stops Rios & I like Rios. But Gamboa better stay far far away from 135. He is small & compact, has a suspect chin to boot. Rios stopped Gamboa 9 out of 10 times.

There's no end to the silliness of these sanctioning bodies. Gamboa hasn't fought a single fight at 135. How can he possibly be ranked #3? Ridiculous....
