Marrone has lost 3 of his past 5 fights.

Why was he chosen over other more deserving cruiserweights for this WBA title shot?

Please say that this is not for the WBA CW title? Mike Marrone is a heavyweight journeyman at best and to my knowledge has never fought at CW. Also, like Freedom stated he's lost 3 of his last 5 fights to add to that, hasn't beaten anyone of mention. I guess I shouldn't be surprised at all with the WBA; this **** is typical with them..

Dan Rafael called them out (the WBA) on Hasim Rahman, I wonder he'll bother to call 'em out on this travesty...

I just checked the WBA rankings: Marrone is ranked #14 at cruiserweight....
