Entertaining veteran contender Bradley Pryce (32-10, 18 KOs) continued his journey with a close win over Danny Butler (19-5, 4 KOs) at Newport Leisure Centre in Newport, Wales. Pryce fought on even terms with the younger Butler up until the last ten seconds of the eighth round, when he rocked his opponent with a teeth-clutching right uppercut and floored him with a subsequent left hook to the shoulder. It proved to be a decisive moment in the fight, as the referee (and a sole judge of the contest) raised his hand with 77-75 points win. BoxingScene had it scored the same for the winner.
