    1. Tim Bradley has whooped Lamont Peterson

    2. the fight is around 6 weeks away, so which ''TOP'' JWW that is available as of right now that would take the fight with short notice & won't get paid much?

    3. Bradley didn't choose the opponent, *** Arum did, it's standard marketing, protect Bradley's ''0'' so the fight against Pacquiao early next year has more significance.

Its not just Bradley dude. Its other guys too.

Donaire is already "committed" to fighting the Nishioka/Marquez winner.

Im just sick of TR bull****. Better fights can be made but we are in a drought because Bob is a greedy *******.

It is all about name recognition.

Bradley is favored to win the fight.

Still, for some Cubans and other Hispanic boxing fans it is a title shot for Joel Casamayor. If Casamayor wins his career is once again revived. Bradley will be in the shelf.

Ain't exactly a "no risk" fight in my opinion.

You know how much damage a loss to Casamayor will do to Bradley's career? A lot, also Top Rank will benefit from it because Brandon Rios can move up to JWW and get a title shot for it. Top Rank, of course, wins.

But Bradley's career will seriously tank just like Kermit Cintron who fought a decent fighter but got owned badly.

Casamayor ain't a walk in the park. This guy just fought Roberto Guerrerro (JWW in 2010) and Juan Manuel Marquez (LW in 2008) in a 4 year span. He knocked out an undefeated Michael Katsidis (LW in 2008) and won twice against Diego Corrales. And his last fight was in March of 2011 a few months removed from his fight against Guerrerro in October of 2010. In terms of boxing activity he is active and fighting elite boxers and non-elite boxers.

Also, who doesn't want to have Joel Casamayor in their record? Bradley should look at this at a stay busy fight and a name recognition fight.

Also, the list of champions and decent boxers that Joel Casamayor faced in his career are:

            1). Diego Corrales - former champion (2 wins / 1 loss)
2). Juan Manuel Marquez - former champion and former lineal champion (loss)
3). Jose Luis Castillo - former champion (loss)
4). Nate Campbell - former champion (win)
5). Roberto Garcia - former champion (win)
            6). Jong-Kwon Baek - former champion (win)
7). Acelino Freitas - former unified champion (win)

8). Michael Katsidis - decent boxer (win)

List of champions and decent boxers that Timothy Bradley faced in his career are:

1). Devon Alexander - former unified champion (win)
2). Kendall Holt - former champion (win)
3). Nate Campbell - former champion (win)
4). Junior Witter - former champion (win)

5). Lamont Peterson - decent boxer (win)

In terms of popularity, Joel Casamayor is more ingrained to many boxing fans all over the world and fought more world fighters than Timothy Bradley can ever say about his career.

Joel Casamayor won against other countries champions and people don't forget stuff like that. Whereas, Timothy Bradley for being a "world champion" hardly fought anyone worldly enough in his reign as a Junior Welterweight champion.

Top Rank knows what they are doing. For Timothy Bradley to build a fan base he has to beat named and famous fighters with fans.
