Hopkins was hurt about 3-5 times against Pascal in two fights. I'd say Pascal is a stronger puncher than Dawson though for sure, but with that said, if chad can catch him right, he can hurt bernard who's chin/legs aren't quite what they used to be.

The key here is if he can catch him enough times and/or will he exploit those brief moments that hopkins allows himself to be hit flush.

Throwing 80-90 punches a round against Hopkins is a lot easier said than done. Pavlik had the same gameplan. Once the bell rang we saw what happened. Obviously Pavlik is no Dawson, just saying though....hopkins seems to know how to slow down the pace no matter what you're game plan is.

Funny thing is, I think the flipside is true to. Even though Hopkins hasn't scored a KO since 1945, I definitely think he can hurt Dawson. He's crafty and knows how to land shots opponents just don't see coming or expect. Ask Tarver, Calzaghe, Pascal and Pavlik. All those guys got hurt by the old man at some point.

Hopkins days as champ are coming to the end. Dawson is going to make Bernard quit. But then, it will be understandable. My hats to Bernard for surprisingly long reign. He is the quality champion deserving to be in the first row of great boxers in the hall of fame.

I wouldn't be surprised if this fights is like Taylor - Wright and ends in a draw

There are several silly and idiotic statements made by boxers and promoters. One is "fire in my eyes (I wonder how he does that?). Another is the HUGELY overused (for everything) "I'm (we're) very excited over (or about)........."

Dawson just said not more than a day ago that he expected this fight to go 12 rounds.

                    Taylor already laid the blueprint.

Box BHOP and when he tries to get sneaky you can't be afraid to bring the ruckus.
