I won't give Manny credit because fighting at this catch-weight that favors Manny is an indirect admission in ducking Marquez in fighting him in a weight that is fair. Can't give credit to a fighter coming into a playing field that is leveled his way for no reason then to come in with an advantage. This fight at 144 is nonsense. Manny could easily make 140 so their is no need for this catch-weight. and even at 140 it would still favor him a bit.

That just does not make any sense. Why would you want two guys whose natural fighting weights are 145+ to go down to 140 below and then just go back to 145+ again to fight? I thought everyone agrees that to have the best results, a boxer should train at his natural fighting weight, especially if he's fighting someone his size?
