  • Comments Thread For: Odlanie Solis Pulled From Vekiloglu Bout on October 14

The comeback of Cuban heavyweight Odlanier Solis, set for October 14, is apparently postponed and the scheduled opponent Varol Vekiloglu will now face Konstantin Airich. This fight will go ahead in Munich where Alexander Petkovic takes on John Napari for the WBFed I/C heavyweight title in the main event. Petkovic was at one a teenage prospect with Universum but retired in 2006. Later on in the same year, he returned in what has been an on and off comeback.

I hope the rumors are true. Oner is a slime-ball.

But I really don't understand this "announcement". Solis made a strange statement some time ago, when this fight was first announced, that he didn't "know anything about it." A few of us had a previous discussion as to whether it was even possible that Odlanier's knee could be ready so soon. Turns out it's not; Solis's knee isn't fully healed.

The fight with Vitali was on March 19. Due to the nature of Odlanier's injury, he may not even be able to train seriously until March 2012. Hopefully he's kept his weight down (wishful thinking, I know). It's probably safe to say that Solis will not make his return to the ring until at least early 2012.

I found a photo of Solis getting his body fat percentage checked last week, they are going to need a bigger ruler. If you didn't notice he has changed because it seems his hair is getting a little longer, of course they may also be clip on extensions.

He has sagging breasts like an old woman now.
