Ortiz is soft as fuck and I don't see how anybody can give Floyd credit for that win. It speaks volumes about how overrated Berto was. The Floyd fight and the Maidana fight aint the only fights Ortiz looked like he wanted to pack it in. Hell he gassed out in the Lamont Peterson fight. These are the kind of opponents Floyd has made a career out of fighting basically.

true true. He should have waited for Manny to fight Ortiz. And Oscar. And Hatton. And Mosley. Cause they best beat their man first and take care business.

Everyone turned around confused and someone said, "You're going for Mayweather?"

I was, really impressed it looked like he really wanted to prove something and knock Ortiz out.
He made a reference to Manfredy fight in one of his interviews saying that's how he wanted to fight. I guess he meant it.

Everyone seems to be completely ignoring the fact that Ortiz was clearly gaining momentum when he realized he could walk through floyds best shots. Even moreso that nearly anytime Ortiz wanted mayweather against the ropes...he got him there. He was smiling and imo, was suprised at how easily he got floyd against the ropes when he actually tried. Not only that, but Ortiz's money shot, his right hook, was clearly going over the top of mayweathers shoulder and catching him in the temple.

Floyds losing his legs and he knows it, there's a reason he made that comment in the post-conference about everyone asking him to fight these guys when hes 34 and not when he was 24. This new stand-in-front philly shell style the entire fight is nowhere near as effective as his philly shell +high guard back in his lightweight days. Hes going to continue to get caught using this style for an entire fight. The philly shell isn't full-proof, shots go over the top of his left shoulder and there's no protection for that sensitive temple of his. If he doesn't adjust to that (which at this point I don't see how he could), hes going to get caught with a hard right hook against Pacquiao. Best believe that.
Yeah Victor was surely gonna get stronger as the fight went on while Floyd was on pace to land over 300-400 punches to while ortiz had 16 thru 4 rounds...

              Are you serious

That fight was a bit less 1 sided than Floyd v Gatti.

Why is everyone ignoring that Floyd was coming off a damn near 2 year lay off!

Fighter someone 10 years younger and almost 20 lbs heavier... and he STILL had ortiz ass bagging up for half of the fight.

All this baloney you babbling about Floyds legs being gone and his new defense not working is crap. Any defense that hold your opponent to a sub 30% connect while you connect over 50% is sucessful.

Now if you wanna learn something go back and watch what happens when victor lands anything other than a jab.

Floyd goes into defense mode and it may look as if he uncomfortable but that just because hes over cautious, he limits the damage of every exchange he loses. That's why no one has ever landed 2 consecutive big shots on him. He looked that same way against Hatton and DLH and he was in total control of both fights.

Floyd was landed the straight right at will and buckling Victors knees from about halfway thru the 3rd and thru the 4th. Victor had no answer for it, he wasnt walkin thru them and smiling. I dont know what you were drinkin or what fight you were watching.

To be fighting a fighter that is everyhtng that Floyd supposedly "struggles" with...

-Younger (remember he only fights old washed up fighters?)
-Bigger (remember he pick on lil guys like hatton,JMM)
              -Stronger
-Southpaw( yeah because Correly(dominated)Castillo(beat 2x)Zab(dominated) gave him so much trouble)
              -Activity( 16 month lay off)

Floyd looked great. Anybody tryn to pick apart that performance is purely hating.

Balls and strikes are the most basic calls of the game.

Compubox has nothing to do with the scoring.

                  Balls and strikes do.
My man, you didn't even understand what I said.

Balls and strikes are tracked, it shows as a pitchers stat for how accurate he is. It can be used for teams offensively for example a pitcher who throws a lot of balls, then a team will have to be more patient against him and try to draw base on balls. While against a pitcher who throws a lot of strikes, a team will be more aggressive against him.

If compubox has been tracking a boxer for 10 years, and this boxer, let's say averages 400 punches a fight with compubox. A boxer can come up with a gameplan to try to beat this low output boxer, with a high output and being aggressive against him, try to take him out of his comfort zone.

That's why I said, that's like saying balls and strikes don't matter. I meant in the same sense as counting punches landed and missed. Not in general, I mean balls and strikes being counted.

And all along, you were making up fake ass history like you always do. And your little band of **** suckers actually thinking you know what you're talking about. Just cause you're in the boxing history section 24/7.

Go ahead, just green k your idol, -Kev-, which you always try to bait in to a debate when ever possible. Even though you dismiss me of "not knowing about boxing". But any chance you get to give me props, you jump at it. You wanna be friends with me you fucking faggot, just say it, lol.

Lol the little pussy giving out green k, getting down on his knees, "you are right kev". Miguel Cotto Rosales
Speaking of making up history. Jro's the same dude that said Andre Ward denied Arthur Abraham's request for Random blood testing LMAO... Then to add insult to injury, he says Floyd Mayweather had a speech problem since he was a kid.....

                      Talk about recreating history

You're a better man then me Kev. I don't know how you have the energy to debate this dude. I know a troll when I see one.
