According to sources who are close to Anselmo "Chemito" Moreno (31-1-1, 18 KOs), the Panamanian star will make his debut with Golden Boy Promotions on December 3rd at the Honda Center in Anaheim, California. Moreno will defend his "super" version of the WBA bantamweight title against IBO champion Vic Darchinyan (37-3-1, 27 KOs). Showtime is going to televise the fight. Moreno's defense will accompany the televised rematch, for the IBF title, between champion Abner Mares and challenger/former champion Joseph Agbeko.

Moreno vs. Darchinyan is a damn good fight! And on the same show as Agbeko-Mares II!!! Golden Boy once again putting on a stellar card.

I hope Bob Arum and Top Stank are taking notes. They might learn something.

According to Schaffer, Showtime had no other available date. I'm not sure if I believe this, but I do know sometimes it is true... Now I don't know if I'll watch both on tv or go to the Mares vs Agneko. I guess it's gonna depend on how good the undercard to Cotto vs Margarito is gonna be.

Thats because Nonaire made the mistake of signing with Top Rank when a majority of the talent is with GBP. I think it was Nonaire side who wasnt interested in Darc again.

If this is showtime then forget paying PPV to watch a cheater, who doesnt deserve the shot and may be done by the 5th round due to his eye, when i can watch this for free. Great card by GBP.

Hopefully Top Rank takes notice to these cardds of late and understand that they must upgrade.
