JIM LAMPLEY: "Victor ORTIZ Is The Strongest Welterweight I've Ever Seen"

On Saturday night, Jim Lampley seemed to fall in love with Ortiz' physique. He commented on it three times. Victor Ortiz was 164 pounds in the ring.

    1) "While Floyd Mayweather has the sleek body that ring tacticians prefer, Victor Ortiz has ripples everywhere. A 21st century body"

    2) "Look at Ortiz' back. He looks like an aircraft carrier"

    3) "Victor Ortiz is the strongest Welterweight that I've ever seen"

Do you agree with Lampley? Is Victor Ortiz (among) the strongest (or strongest-looking) welterweight that you've ever seen?

That was more mental. And stylistic. When Ortiz had Floyd in the corners, you can see him "bull" PBF.

Not if you don't fight right, or can't apply that strength advantage.

BTW, Saturday's version of Ortiz beats Mosley.

A bigger muscle isn't always a stronger one.

Ortiz is very top heavy which likely attributes to his poor balance & bad footwork.
His back is very wide (big lats) - Not ideal in my personal opinion.

This is why Floyd was able to turn him with such ease & the only reason he bulled Floyd was because Floyd was on the defence at the time.

This thread is pointless it's like asking boxers if they have beaten the biggest and baddest opponents using cheap shots.

Lampley said that. That's an exact quote.

So, you are posting in a pointless thread? How smart is that?
