In the streets (non sports) a sucker punch might be from behind or even when you and the person are talking the issue out and they just all of a sudden hit you, but Ortiz is clearly in a fight.....

Boxing = protect yourself at all times

Im glad Floyd did what he did, Ortiz was actin like a pussy hugging and kissing Floyd to apologize. Ortiz was a thug for 1 fight in his career, he's gone back to bein a pussy

I'm not a pro fighter or anything, but anytime I ever been in a fight and we start to talk in the middle I always keep my guard up, you would think that a pro fighter would surely know better.

A fighters guard should always stay up when your opponent is within striking distance

A sucker punch is when you're not aware the punch is coming, in the sense that you're attention was diverted. Ortiz came in for the hug, Floyd accepted the hug, but gave Ortiz no time to set himself up....

But the second punch was legit. After getting the first punch, you'd think he'd put his hands up then

Ortiz was probably about knocked out from the first punch, he did the same exact thing to Mosley and it didn't effect him like it did Ortiz. Guess Mosley had a better jaw.

You are a fool If you get sucker punch from the front, I always kept my opponents a few feet away and never felt the need to talk and argue that close to someones face. And if I do I have my guard already up.
