The punch was absolutely legal.

If the ref tells you to box, which he did, then punching your opponent in the face is legal

Whether they want to hug, kiss, defend themselves, or not.

I could probably KO an Ortiz with his guard down. That doesn't prove I'm good or even the best.

This fight just proves Mayweather knows how to sucker punch KO. Not that he's one of the greatest ever.

When/if u spar and ur opponent looks away is that a sucker punch? Once ur in the ring: protect at all times!

Definately legal. But you know you're wrong when you KO someone with a sucka punch in a boxing match.

cheap? yes. a ***** move? not if the dude intentionally clocked u with his head a few secs ago. why do ppl feel sorry for vicious? he was being vicious and he got sonned.
