Former world champion Giovani "Aztec Warrior" Segura aggravated a left wrist injury in training and the boxer has been forced to withdraw at the late hour. Segura (28-1-0, 24 KOs) was scheduled to return on Thursday in a ten round bout in Rosarito, Mexico against flyweight Luis Carlos Leon of Colombia (13-4-0, 11 KOs). Segura hurt his left wrist after landing a punch and immediately stopped the training. He went to his doctor and it was determined that his inflammation and pain made it impossible to fight on Thursday.
