In May, Jorge Arce defeated Wilfredo Vazquez Jr. via a twelfth round TKO, to capture the WBO super bantamweight title, in an exciting battle that is in the running for "Fight of the Year" honors. The fight stole the show on the undercard of the Manny Pacquiao-Shane Mosley mega-fight. Rumors of a rematch began to surface a couple months ago. More recently there have been talks of the rematch taking place on December 3rd, as part of the televised undercard of the Miguel Cotto-Antonio Margarito pay-per-view rematch.

I can't see this happenng on 3 Dec after his Sept bout...too soon and w/Arc'es being prone to cut, and nose surgey after last bout, I see early 2012 but WV2 should take a fight unless AllStar doesn't want to take the risk...

The match was dead even going into the last round. Vazquez couldn't bring it but Arce could.

hes a good kid i like vasquez jr but even if he wins this time therell be another iron willed mexican to pressure him out soon enough.
