The World Boxing Council has announced that a purse bid will be conducted for the bout between WBC Welterweight International champion Phil Lo Greco (22-0, 12KOs), Italy/Canada) and his official challenger WBC Welterweight International Silver champion, Victor Lupo Puiu (19-1-2, 9KOs, Romania/Canada), as both interested parties failed to reach an agreement by September 2nd, 2011, which was the WBC deadline for doing so.
