1st. Lewis was maybe not in his "prime" but he was defintely not "shot" like 2003 tyson
2nd. vitali was not training for a lewis fight, he was training for a undercard fight... and was asked to fight lewis, so he was not prepared to fight lewis, not saying he would of won, even with full prepareness, lewis wasn't that prepared ether
3rd. the fight was close, and there should of been a rematch.... BAR NONE
4th. lennox is a great fighter, out of this world, and there is no shame in lossing to him
5th. Ali would beat the **** out of lewis prime vs. prime
6th- no one ever says the klitschkos are the greatest, and the ones who do are not taken seriously...

7th. your a pathetic klit-hater simple as that
8th.. **** you
Vitali lost plain & simple, why are you complaining? All reasons why Lennox knew his time was up & retired.
I read the topic title wrong, I thought it said Vitali was nowhere near his prime. Which would also be true. I felt Vitali was inexperienced before going up against an experience vet like Lewis.
Anyone with an IQ over 8 considers it a win for Vitali. Lewis cut the eye with an illegal hold and hit. He should have been dq'ed. Ref ******. Lewis due to a bad ref. I suppose you think Paul Williams won his last fight too because boxrec says he did.

"Ahem" that exact point can be applied to Lennox, which makes your point moot. He was training for Kirk Johnson and was out of shape. He knew Kirk Johnson wasn't much so he didn't take it seriously and to his credit, agreed to fight a dangerous contender instead. So not only was he past his prime but he was out of shape and uninspired. I think Lewis should get credit for even taking a fight like that.
"Ahem" that exact point can be applied to Lennox, which makes your point moot. He was training for Kirk Johnson, had just finished acting in a movie (Oceans 11 to be exact) and was out of shape. He knew Kirk Johnson wasn't much so he didn't take it seriously and was thrown in with a dangerous contender instead. So not only was he past his prime but he was out of shape and uninspired.
Thanks for clearing that up, i got the two confused. He was clearly uninspired though, and clearly not in his best shape. He was training for Johnson as a retirement fight that he knew would be a walkover. Vitali was actually fully trained.
