Former triple world champion Humberto "Zorrita" Soto (56-7-2, 32 KOs) of Mexico and the former WBA world champion of Nicaraguan, Jose Alfaro (25-7-0, 22 KOs), had no problems with making weight for their showdown on Saturday night at Estadio Centenario in Los Mochis, Mexico. Soto came in at the junior welterweight limit of 140-pounds, while Alfaro was 139-pounds. There is no title at stake but the winner is likely going to see a world title opportunity in the near future.
