I hear alot of negativity here.but Boxing is pure and defines life to me

1 on 1,you can fall and you have the option to get up and learn from your mistakes or stay down, what you do and don't do defines you, your legacy, what people will say about you when you're gone.your own actions can end up with you flat on your face or with you raised up with your hands in the sky.you take your destiny in your own hands and determine your own fate.i love this sport and hte when people nit pick on every damn thing and make every thing negative...THIS IS MY LIFE,MY HEART MY SOUL,I BLEED BOXING................DO YOU?

That's very cute Larry, I can respect that.

What I like about the sport is just how pure it is, if that makes sense. From the discipline of training and getting yourself in the best possible shape, to the bravery and courage required to go out there and actually fight and not run like a duck in circles for 12 rounds..

I just love how competitive it is, in my opinion, it is the only sport where all aspects of an athlete and person are tested. You have to be in the right state of mind to combat.

I just like fighting and I like what it represents I guess.

i just really love hand to hand combat, there is nothing else like it!!!

boxing is life in a sense if you fall down (make a mistake in life) you have to get back up ( if you want to achieve your goals!)

a lot of the time, or all of the time, these fighters dont really get the respect they deserve, they go into that ring and put their lifes on the line to put on a good show and prove that they are the best.

they are modern day gladiators, they fight for their checks while we work 9 to 5's for ours.
