Did Haye not get KOd by Wlad because he didnt let him put his weight on him?

Do you think Haye lasted all 12 rounds and took the punches he did because he didnt allow Wlad to lean on him and drain / weaken him b pressing all his body weight on his back after his attacks?

or was it another reason as Haye has always had a questionable chin so Wlad of all people should have knocked him out.

but i guess if wlad isnt able or less able to lean all of his weight on Haye many times per round he w0ont get drained by the later rounds

He mostly got hit by jabs. Haye would have to have a chin of literal glass to have gotten knocked down by the few big shots Wlad hit him with.

Haye didn't get KO'd against Wlad because he used alot of movement, didn't take alot of risks (low workrate) and had surprisingly good head movement.

Haye got hit mostly with jabs and Wlad never really landed a clean right hand the whole fight.

If Wlad was able to land right hands, he would of taken Haye out, it would of had nothing to do with Wlad leaning on him either.

Both guys were cautious even if Wlad was a cautious aggressor, neither man landed many clean significant power punches on one another but both were still capable of stopping the other.

Probably because he was cautious using body and head movement and Wlad didn't land many big punches on him, they were just jabs. Wlad was pretty cautious himself in the fight and didn't seem to try to hit him hard to knock him out.

haye didn't get ko'd because he didn't really try much of anything. what's to say about a fight where the most memorable moment is a record number of slips to the canvas ...
