IBF middleweight champion Daniel Geale (25-1, 15 KOs) easily retained his title for the first time with a twelve round unanimous decision over Eromosele Albert (24-4-1, 12 KOs) at the Derwent Entertainment Centre in Hobart, Tasmania. The scores were 116-112, 117-111 and 119-109. The hometown crowd was going wild for Geale in the contest.
