The World Boxing Association has suspended the championship status of their "super champion" at bantamweight, Anselmo "Chemito" Moreno. The sanctioning organization has made him the "champion in recess." Moreno is able to accept fights but he can't defend his title until his legal battle is resolved in Panama with his ex-manager, Dr. Roberto Grimaldo.

What a joke! WBA and WBC are crooks nothing more than that. I bet they can't even name their own champions except for their favorite boxers.

Suspended for what? The real champion is still Moreno regardless of his legal problems and inability to face Donaire.

I hope the WBA,WBO,WBC,IBF can make a rules that if the champions has a problem with their promotions / manager they can assume the promotions to have the fight. I fine it silly that a champions can be strip b'coz they have legal battles. Why not let them handle the promotions in case those things will happen. If they can make that in their Rules there will be no more stripping of belts im sure.
