He was probably working Julio's D-class behind in sparring. Berto will win. If you think otherwise put some points up son.

Berto cannot afford to lose this fight against Zaveck.

By Jeffrey Freeman - They say a boxer is only as good as his last fight, and in the case of Andre Berto that last fight was a...

It's an absolute must-win fight for him, and he needs to look impressive and exciting.

What can go wrong between the Juice Boss Conte, and Mafia boss Al Haymon anyway? The first one makes sure Berto looks good (and not like a 40yr old Grandma), and the other sends $$$ envelopes around.

These dumbasses don't even want to give Zavec proper recognition, so Berto is written as the champ on the official poster lol.

@Rip Chudd At the official weigh-ins topic, or some other topic closer to the fight.

I wish Zaveck all the best. It would be so much better for the sport to have a European successfully defend a world title in America.

            Amir Khan already proved that.

Perhaps there are two "official" versions of the fight poster but there should only be one, the one you use in your avatar. DiBella claims it's "disrespectful" to Zaveck to describe him as "relatively unknown" but they were the ones who put out that poster, which clearly disrespects Zaveck, the defending champion. Will they introduce Zaveck first in the ring the way Holmes was against Cooney? Apparently we should ALL know who Zaveck is because DiBella took a look at him on YouTube a couple weeks ago, and now we all gotta play catch-up, or risk "disrespecting" the champ.

No, not at all. The one I posted above is clearly the official version, because it has SES Boxing symbol (Zavec's Club) written below. The other one doesn't. I think they had the one in my avatar ready at first, but decided to change it to what it is now. Or they just made this version for the Zavec's website for Zavec's fans. IDK.

It's pretty ugly to be doing a thing like that, but Floyd-Ortiz also shows Mayweather as the Champ, even though Ortiz is the actual WBC Champ.

OK, but Mayweather is one of the two biggest stars in boxing and a case could be made that he is the actual welterweight champion, with or without a belt. Still, I agree the way they do the posters these days is all wrong. It's more about how big a star you are as opposed to what belt you have. It would be like if back when Leonard fought Norris, they had Ray on the left and promoted it as Leonard vs Norris WBC Jr Middleweight Title.

                  Oh, they did...

I know Zaveck will upset the doubters in this fight. Im betting on him, he will delete Berto in the welterweight mix.
